Happy Halloween! Here's a little GIF I made to send to your friends if they like living dead kitties.
Recently I started working as a Design & Animation Artist at The Ambassadors in Amsterdam. The first project I worked on was for Adformatie. We made an animated interview about John Mescall, the creator of the famous Dumb Ways To Die commercial. For this project, I animated a few of the wonderful illustrations made by my colleagues.
Other projects are not online yet, so I can't tell anything about them for now. Be sure to stay tuned to see more in the future!
My graduation film 'The Island' is finished! The film will be online soon, but for now, here's a trailer. Big thanks to Manglemoose for helping me out with the music, sound design & voice acting!
I'm about halfway there with my film 'The Island' and thought to give you some information about it!
The film is about a puppet who is trapped on an island. Her job is to throw paper planes to her neighbours, but she would rather swim around in the ocean. One night, she escapes, but the ocean is not what she imagined it would be.
I'm making this film as a graduation project for my Master's degree in Animation. Because I am trained as an illustrator, I like to draw all the elements from the film first in Photoshop. I then animate them using a cut-out technique in After Effects. So far, it works really well!
I will present my film during the Master Exhibition at my school, the AKV St. Joost in Breda, the Netherlands. It will be held from the 1st to the 7th of September, 2016. Join the fun!
I'm very proud to show you one frame from my next film! I'm working on this until the end of August, so keep tuned for more sneak peeks!
A new project has been finished! This time I created four GIFs for the promotion of 'My Stories, My Terms', a workshop created for refugees in Berlin to help them tell their own stories.
Finally online! My graduation film 'Quiet', based on the book by the same name by Susan Cain.
