To celebrate the launch of their Easter beer, Brouwerij ‘t IJ asked multiple artist to decorate an ostrich egg. They were displayed at the Eggshibition at Vogelfrei during their Easter festivities.

My egg celebrated new life in spring, but no cute chicks or rabbits here. I wanted an ode to the real unsung heroes of new garden life: the critters, the crawlies, the insects!
